REFUND POLICY

At Publicly Private LLC, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our garments. If your purchase does not meet your expectations, we offer returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

RETURN WINDOW

You have 14 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange. Items must be shipped back to our New York studio within 7 days of your return being authorized.​

ITEM CONDITION

To be eligible for a refund, items must be in their original, unworn, and unwashed condition.

  • All original tags, including the Publicly Private security tag, must be attached and intact.

  • Items must be returned in their original luxury packaging (dust bags, boxes, etc.).

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or do not meet these criteria.​


FINAL SALE & LIMITED DROPS​

Due to the exclusive nature of our brand, certain items are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase.

  • Specific pieces from "Limited Drops" or "Pre-orders" (this will be clearly noted on the product page).

  • Gift Cards.​


HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To begin the process, please contact our Concierge team at concierge@publiclyprivate.com.

  • Please include your Order Number and the Reason for Return.

  • Once approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for shipping.​


REFUNDS & PROCESSING

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval: Your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days (in accordance with New York State requirements).

  • Store Credit: You may also choose to receive store credit, which never expires.​


SHIPPING COSTS & FEES

  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable service (UPS or FedEx), as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

  • Restocking Fees: We do not charge restocking fees for standard returns that meet our condition requirements.
